Camping is permitted only in the Afton Canyon Campground. This campground is a first-come first-served fee area.

Dogs are permitted on leash.

Horseback riding is permitted throughout the area. Bring all needed supplies including water.

Hiking is permitted throughout the area.

Hunting is permitted with shotguns only (shot shells, no rifled slugs) in the area. Dove, quail and chuckar are hunted in season and bag limits vary. Valid California hunting license is required.

Street legal vehicles are permitted on routes designated with a brown marker.

Mountain biking is permitted on designated trails that are shared with motorized vehicles.

Off-Road Vehicles are permitted on routes designated with a brown marker.
