Reservations are recommended for developed campgrounds. Dispersed camping is also available at designated campsites.

Pets are permitted in developed areas. They must be restrained on a leash not more than six feet long.

Pets are not permitted on trails.

Except where otherwise posted, all designated trails in the park are open to stock use.

Fishing regulations for Yosemite National Park follow those set by the State of California, including the requirement that people 16 or older have a valid California fishing license.

Hiking is permitted throughout the park.

Bikes are permitted on designated bike paths. Trail use is extremely limited.
