September 2012 Released as Anza-Borrego Explorer. Coverage included the Anza-Borrego desert, Ocotillo Wells and adjacent BLM land.
June 2013 Changed name to San Diego Trail Map. Increased coverage to include all of San Diego county. Added Topo map, search functionality, color coded trails and customized visual design.
October 2013 Added most of Imperial county and some of Riverside county.
June 2014 Increased coverage of existing areas. Released Trail Finder.
October 2014 Changed name to California Trail Map. Added Riverside county and southern San Bernardino county.
November 2014 Added northern San Bernardino county.
December 2014 Added eastern Kern county.
May 2015 Added Los Angeles county, east Ventura county and Kern River area.
June 2015 Added Orange county and west Riverside county.
September 2015 Added San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, west Ventura counties.
November 2015 Added Inyo county.
April 2016 Added Clark county, Nevada.
July 2016 Added Tulare county.
November 2016 Improvements to existing coverage area. YouTube videos.
April 2017 Added Fresno county and part of Madera county (Sierra National Forest).
June 2017 Added Mariposa and Madera counties along with most of Mono and Tuolumne. Yosemite & Mammoth!

October 2018 Added Mapsforge vector format. Released Android app.

March 2022 Review and update of existing coverage areas.
August 2022 Added all of Esmeralda, Lincoln, Lyon and Storey counties (Nevada).
October 2023 Added all of Nye county (Nevada).
