Red Rock offers beautiful views, a 13-mile scenic drive, miles of hiking trails, rock climbing, horseback riding, mountain biking, road biking, picnic areas, nature observing and visitor center.

Camping is permitted at the developed campground two miles east of the visitor center. Fee is required.

Backcountry camping is allowed within the core area of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area above 5,000 feet. A paperless permit is required and can be obtained by calling: 702-515-5050 and leaving your information after the voice message.
Pets are permitted on trails and should be leashed to minimize conflicts with other people, other pets and native wildlife.
Horseback riding is permitted on designated trails.
Hiking is permitted on established trails.

Mountain bikes are permitted in three areas:
Cottonwood/Blue Diamond(south)
Cowboy Trails(east)
Kyle Canyon(north)
Mountain bikes are not permitted on trails in the core area of Red Rock Canyon.
Off-Highway Vehicles are permitted on (a limited number) of designated trails.
